This will be a great one.  I couldn’t find the source, but I could have sworn I read somewhere that this will be the last contest at Ramp Ranch. Apparently they are moving to a different location.  And for all you pro-hoes, there should also be a good pro turn out since thishappens to land on the same weekend.  So if you find yourself in the Austin area and need something to do, you should try hard to make it.  I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Update:  It turns out I read about Ramp Ranch moving locations on Facebook.  Here’s a link to the invite.  There will even be a girls class!  It’s always fun to watch girls shred harder than many of the dudes.

When your are fortunate enough to live somewhere where the lowest it gets all winter is in the mid 30s, you shouldn’t ever complain about the weather being too bad to ride. Sadly, despite Austin’s wonderfully mild winters, you won’t catch anyone night riding for more than a few hours unless it is here.  As far as i know, Ramp Ranch has been around for at least 10 years.  Over the last few years, there have been a number of changes in management and even more rumors about it shutting down.  This couldn’t be further from the truth.  In fact, the current owners have put some money into the place by making some welcomed additions/reconfigurations.  If you are in the Austin area, check this place out.  The 32 mile drive from downtown is definitely worth it.
